As a private sector initiative the WIBC Board
comprises of individuals selected for their significant expertise in business
and international markets. The WIBC has drawn on the existing talent
of business, academia and governmental bodies across Wales to develop and
support organisations wishing to connect with the global economy. It acts as a
sounding board for International companies wishing to do business in Wales and
uses its extensive global networks on a reciprocal basis for enterprises in
Wales. Through its partnerships it is developing a creative and innovative
private/public network approach that will position and benefit Wales internationally.

Raj studied at the Welsh School of Pharmacy, qualifying in 1973. He was a senior manager with Boots until 1983 and managed various stores throughout the country. He is Chairman of the South East Region and Board member of the NPA and currently Chairman of the Kidney Wales Foundation. Raj is also a Director and Board member of the Cardiff Business Club and he was awarded an OBE in 2007 for services to pharmacy, the Asian community and charitable services.
